The instructor course is designed to teach and certify candidates in all aspects in teaching students in semi-auto handguns and rifles. What will be covered?

Firearms and range safety protocols for instructors
First aid and stop the bleed
Teaching methodology
Lesson planning
Class organization
Basic handgun armory and maintenance
Handgun shooting techniques and instruction methodology
Basic rifle armory and maintenance
Rifle shooting techniques and instruction methodology
Ballistics
The handgun fundamentals course format
The Rifle fundamentals course format
The private event format
Each instructor will receive a comprehensive guide book will all of the curriculum covered in the course.

Requirements for entry:

Significant training time under Tactical Fitness or reputable training organization AND approval by TF staff.
OR
Already a certified firearms instructor through a reputable organization (NRA, USCCA, TCOLE, POST, etc)

What will be required to receive a TF instructor certification:

Full attendance of the instructor course
Teaching test (80% or higher)
Written test (80% or higher)
Shooting tests (85% or higher on TF pistol and rifle quals)
Instructor reviews (80% or higher)

Certification is valid for 2 years.
Recertification will comprise of the same requirements to passing the original
certification. About 2-3 hours long. $500
