ACL Weekend Needs More Than Music
Austin City Limits Music Festival takes over Zilker Park October 2-4 and 9-11, 2026. Two weekends, thousands of people, and every rooftop bar in town charging triple. If you’re bringing a bachelor party or a crew looking for something besides another overpriced brunch, you need a plan that doesn’t involve standing in line.Tactical Fitness Austin runs a private outdoor range in Florence, Texas, 55 minutes from downtown Austin and 55 minutes from Zilker Park. We handle groups of 5 or more looking to shoot live firearms in a controlled environment before or after the festival. No crowds, no public range chaos, just your group and our instructors.
Bachelor Packages That Work Around ACL
We run four bachelor packages, all priced per person plus sales tax and payment processing fee. Bullets and Bros at $299 is two hours of tactical rifle shooting with AR-15s, Tavors, and FN SCARs, ammo and instruction included. The Crash Course at $399 is about one hour across seven full-auto platforms. Rapid Fire at $899 is three to four hours, two hours of machine gun shooting plus two hours of tactical rifle, access to our 100+ machine gun collection. Ultimate Texan at $2,999 is the full-day private experience with the aerial component, catered food, and professional media coverage.Sessions run morning or afternoon. Book early morning, hit the range, then roll into ACL by evening. Or sleep off Friday night, shoot Saturday morning, and skip the noon heat at Zilker. Florence is far enough out that you avoid festival traffic but close enough to make it work.
What to Expect at the Range
Private range means no waiting. Your group gets dedicated instruction, safety briefing, and hands-on time with firearms. We supply eye and ear protection, targets, and all ammunition. You bring your ID and follow directions.This is outdoor tactical training, not a tourist attraction. We don’t do gimmicks. You learn how to handle firearms correctly, then you shoot them. Most groups finish in 2-3 hours depending on package.
