Austin F1 Weekend Range Day
Formula 1 United States Grand Prix weekend brings thousands of corporate groups, clients, and event crews to Austin. Circuit of the Americas hosts the race October 23-25, 2026. If you need something other than bars and barbecue for your group, Tactical Fitness Austin runs private outdoor range sessions 65 minutes from COTA and 55 minutes from downtown Austin.We operate a private range in Florence, Texas. Gun Experiences for Corporate Groups
We run four main packages. Tactical Rifle Experience is $299 per person plus sales tax and payment processing fee. You shoot rifles and get coached through fundamentals. Full Auto Crash Course is $399 per person plus sales tax and payment processing fee. You add select-fire rifles to the mix.Machine Guns runs $899 per person plus sales tax and payment processing fee. Belt-fed automatics, suppressors, and specialty weapons. Texas Gun Range Experience is $2,999 per person plus sales tax and payment processing fee. Full menu, all day, as much trigger time as you want.All packages include firearms, ammunition, safety gear, instruction, and range fees. We handle setup and breakdown. You show up and shoot.
Private Range, No Crowds
F1 weekend fills up the public ranges and most of the tourist spots around Austin. We run a private operation, so your group gets the range to yourselves. No waiting, no strangers, no distractions. Just your crew and our instructors.Florence is northwest of Austin, away from race traffic. Drive time varies depending on where you stay, but plan 55 minutes from downtown and 65 minutes from the track. We recommend scheduling your range session early in the weekend before race day crowds build, or on a recovery day after late nights.
How Corporate Bookings Work
Corporate groups need at least five people. We can handle larger crews, just call ahead so we can staff appropriately. Sessions run two to four hours depending on the package. We provide everything except closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.You can add time, swap packages, or mix experience levels within your group. Some crews book multiple packages so different people get different experiences.
