Austin’s most-booked bachelor activities are lake days, BBQ crawls, and go-karts. A private outdoor shooting experience is the one most groups end up talking about afterward, because it is the only one where nearly everybody is doing something they have never done before. We run events at our own private outdoor facility outside Austin — your group only, no public lanes, no strangers in the next bay. Packages start at $299 per person for a two-hour tactical rifle session, minimum five people.
Three packages, priced per person. The rate depends on how far ahead you book: 21 or more days out is the early-bird rate, 11 to 20 days is the late rate, and 10 days or fewer is last-minute.
Ammunition, instructors, and eye and ear protection are included. Minimum five people. Booking early is worth real money — the gap between the early-bird and last-minute rate is $100 per person on every package.
Yes. Most groups have at least one guy who has never held a rifle. Every event is instructor-led and opens with a safety brief and fundamentals before anyone fires a shot. You do not need experience, your own firearms, or a license of any kind. The instructors run the firing line, so the best man is not the one responsible for safety.
It depends on the package. Bullets & Bros covers tactical rifles — AR-15s, IWI Tavors, and FN SCARs. The Full Auto Crash Course puts seven full-auto guns in your hands, one magazine each, including the M16, AK-47, and a belt-fed. Rapid Fire opens up a collection of over 100 machine guns, including the MP5 and M60, on top of two hours of tactical rifle work. Ammunition is included in every package.
Yes. Most Austin-area ranges are indoor lanes shared with the public. We operate a private outdoor facility, so your group has the place to itself. That is what makes movement drills, reactive steel targets, and full-auto fire possible — none of which an indoor lane can allow. Plan around Texas weather: from June through September we start in the morning.
Book 21 or more days out to get the early-bird rate and your pick of weekend slots. We take one private group per slot, so Saturdays fill first. For a spring or fall Saturday, four to six weeks ahead is realistic.
Private use of the outdoor facility for your group, instructors, all firearms, the ammunition for your package, and eye and ear protection. You bring closed-toe shoes and a valid photo ID. No alcohol before or during the shoot — anyone who turns up impaired does not shoot, and that seat is not refunded. Schedule the range in the morning and the bars afterward.
The minimum is five. Typical bachelor groups run eight to fifteen. Larger groups are workable — we run them in relays so nobody is standing around waiting for a turn — but tell us the headcount when you inquire so we can schedule it properly.
