This Live Fire – Low Light Pistol course is a 6 hour course meant to teach students tactics and techniques for engagements in low light conditions with a pistol. The course will also cover general low light shooting skills inside and outside the home.

Skill level: Intermediate – you must have previous pistol training to attend this course.

CURRICULUM:

• Safety

• Pistol shoot fundamentals review

• Low light shooting fundamentals

• Use of handheld light and Pistol mounted light

• Basic cover and room clearing with a pistol in low light condition

• Stress drills and simulations

Course materials: (click on the link to purchase from our pro shop)

• Semi-auto centerfire pistol WITH night sights or red dot sight

• 4 magazines or more (8 minimum if using single stacked mags – Glock 43, M&P shield, etc)

• Outside the waistband or Concealed holster – AIWB Kydex recommended – MUST ATTACH DIRECTLY TO YOUR BELT – no sticky, pocket holsters, leather, or serpa type holsters

• Closed toed shoes/boots, pants, belt, and t-shirt

• 350 rounds of new ammunition minimum

• Eye and ear protection

• Shooting gloves recommended

• Tac-light, handheld flashlight (streamlight/Inforce/Surefire) and or pistol mounted light – extra batteries (although not required we highly recommend having a pistol mounted light for the class that emits at least 300 lumens)
